In July 2025, Tucson will be hosting a variety of events, including concerts, festivals, and other activities. Specific events include Rhiannon Giddens at the Anselmo Valencia Amphitheater, Nekromantix and Rumours at the Rialto Theatre, and asphalt astronaut at Club Congress. There will also be a Celestial Festival at 191 Toole and other events happening at various locations.
Festivals & Celebrations:
- Hotel Congress will host Surfapalooza 2025, a surf music extravaganza on July 26th at 6:00 PM.
- Celebrate Independence Day at the Stars & Stripes Celebration in Pima County, Arizona on July 3rd at 3:00 PM. This event features food, drinks, and summer games.
- The Celestial Festival will be held at 191 Toole on July 12th at 4:30 PM.
- MegaMania, the library’s annual ComiCon-style event, takes place at Pima Community College – Downtown Campus on July 19th at 12:00 PM.
- Desert Haze Night Market will be at the Hotel Congress Plaza on July 19th at 6:00 PM.
- Slurpee Fest, a music festival featuring Texas bands, is scheduled for July 11th at 4:00 PM at Groundworks
- There’s also a Rainbows, Unicorn Farts, & Fairy Dust comedy show benefitting Tucson Queerstory at Sky Bar Tucsonon July 12th at 6:00 PM.

Live Performances:
- Shine On Floyd, a Pink Floyd tribute band, will perform at the Edward B. Berger Performing Arts Center on July 26th at 7:00 PM.
- Big Country will be playing at the Rialto Theatre on July 3rd at 7:30 PM as part of their Totally 80s Tour.
- Dexter and The Moonrocks are performing at ENCORE on July 12th at 8:00 PM.

Arts & Culture:
- The 11th Annual Labute New Theater Festival is happening at Gaslight Theatre on July 12th and 19th.
- Momentos – A TMA Summer Series will be held at the Tucson Museum Of Art on July 19th at 2:00 PM, celebrating the connection between art and community.
- Gaslight Theatre: Back to the West, a new parody show, will be at the Gaslight Theatre on July 8th and 12th.
- Join a Poetry and Art workshop with Taylor Raney at the Quincie Douglas Library on July 9th at 2:00 PM.
